Premium Dog Training and Rehabilitation
Want a well trained dog but don’t have the time or experience? Ted Carlson Dog Training’s Board & Train Program is for you! From basic obedience to problem solving and behavior modification, we have a training program for all breeds over 4 months old. Your dog will learn from Ted Carlson using his unique, science-based, 3 stage dog training system, and when you pick up your dog we teach you everything as well! You’ll be amazed at how fun dog training is once your dog has a strong foundation of obedience!
While your dog is with us, they will receive multiple dog training sessions five days a week with our trainers, including 1-on-1 training with Head Trainer Ted Carlson. Your dog will also receive ongoing positive social interactions with the rest of our staff who will reinforce good behavior, regular daily exercise, and play time with other dogs if approved.
MAKE A RESERVATIONJump Start Board & Train
(2 weeks) $1400
Jump Start your dog’s training with a 2 Week Board & Train! Your dog will learn how to sit, lay down, leave it, and come when called.
The 2 Week Jump Start Board & Train is great for puppies and docile dogs without existing behavioral issues. Any such issues can be addressed in our other programs.
Participation in School Days included based on individual dog’s temperament.
Basic Obedience Board & Train
(3 weeks) $2200
This is the perfect program to train your dog to be obedient to your commands, and have good manners in and around the house. The Basic Obedience Program teaches your dog how to walk on a loose leash, sit/stay, down/stay, come when called, place and leave it. This program also addresses unwanted behaviors such as, jumping, chewing, crate training, etc.
This program includes a Herm-Sprenger prong collar or 6′ British Slip Lead. An E-Collar Technologies remote training collar can be added to this program.
Participation in School Days included based on individual dog’s temperament.
*Training equipment may not be included, as determined by the trainer.
Advanced Obedience Board & Train
(4 weeks) $3100
This program is for dogs to be able to have off leash freedom while staying safe and under control or for dogs with behavior problems. The 4 Week Board & Train teaches your dog how to walk on a loose leash, sit/stay, down/stay, come when called, place, and leave it, and addresses unwanted behaviors like jumping, chewing, barking, mouthing, counter-surfing, crate training, house breaking, etc. PLUS all commands off leash (remote training collar recommended for off leash reliability) around distractions and/or minor behavior modification for anxiety, fear, reactivity, etc.
This program includes a Herm-Sprenger prong collar or 6′ British Slip Lead. An E-collar Technologies collar can be added for an additional charge.
Participation in School Days included based on individual dog’s temperament.

Rehabilitation Board & Train
(starts at 4 weeks) $3400/month
The Rehabilitation Program is for aggression towards humans or other animals, resource guarding and severe fear and anxiety. The program starts at 4 weeks and includes a Herm-Sprenger prong collar or 6′ British Slip Lead. An E-collar Technologies collar can be added for an additional charge.

Note: Dog training results are not guaranteed due to every dog being different in terms of temperament and intelligence. Our Board & Train Program lengths are based on the average dog’s ability to learn. If a dog is not able to keep up with the curriculum, then more training will be necessary.
